IT Manager - Operations, Business Sytems & In-house systems

ICTS is looking for a hands-on IT Manager who wants to take real ownership of that environment.
This is a role for someone who likes variety, responsibility and practical impact. One moment the focus may be
on cybersecurity, access rights or endpoint management; the next on internal applications, reporting,
integrations, business workflows or supporting colleagues who need quick and clear solutions.
The position is full-time and office-based, with a base in Gent or Zeebrugge, Belgium, and regular visits to
Uithoorn, the Netherlands.
Job description:
Take ownership of daily IT operations across the Group.
Ensure smooth support for users, devices, workplace IT, access management, printers, network topics and infrastructure follow-up.
Lead and develop the current IT support colleague.
Work with external IT partners while keeping clear internal ownership.
Manage and improve the full cybersecurity setup, including MFA, endpoint protection, access control, monitoring and incident follow-up.
Keep business-critical software and hardware systems stable and reliable.
Improve internal applications, reporting, integrations, data quality and workflows.
Help build stronger in-house business systems instead of relying only on fragmented external tools.
Translate practical needs from rental, services, workshops, finance and management into workable IT solutions.
Use AI and automation tools in a smart, safe and controlled way.
Your profile
Experience in IT operations within a practical business environment.
Strong knowledge of workplace IT, user support, endpoint management, access rights and collaboration tools.
Good understanding of cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking and supplier coordination.
Able to understand and improve existing code, internal applications, databases, scripts or integrations.
Familiar with SQL, reporting, data quality, APIs or business intelligence.
Comfortable combining daily support topics with longer-term system improvements.
Hands-on when needed, but able to delegate, coach and create structure.
Calm under pressure and clear in communication with technical and non-technical colleagues.
Strong English skills. Dutch is a plus, but not required.
